The Devs Tools is a 100% client-side utility suite. All text, JSON, data formatters, and calculators process inputs directly inside your local web browser context using client-side JavaScript.
If a page hits an unexpected JavaScript error, a minimal crash report is automatically sent to Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service, so we can find and fix bugs. This is the only case where data leaves your browser during normal use of the tools.
The error message and stack trace, the page URL it happened on, and your browser/OS (parsed from your User-Agent). A small random sample of page-load timing data is also collected to monitor real-world site speed.
No session recordings, no click or scroll tracking, and no personal identifying information — we never attach a name, email, or account identity, since this site has no user accounts to begin with.
See Sentry's privacy policy for how they handle this data.
The Chrome Extension companion (The Devs Tools API Tester Companion) is a tool designed solely to bypass Same-Origin and CORS policy boundaries. It operates on the following rules:
All requests are initiated directly from your browser's local background context. We do not proxy your queries through intermediate cloud servers.
We do not collect, view, monitor, log, or sell any cookies, request headers, API URLs, request bodies, or response content.
Feint for Mac and Feint for Android communicate directly over your local Wi-Fi or USB connection. No data is stored or logged outside of your immediate pairing devices.
For specific location data handling, Firebase Crashlytics reporting parameters, and third-party routing provider API details, please visit our dedicated Feint Privacy Policy page.
